What memories come to mind when you lie in your bed at night and think about the past?

Memories are the link between the events of the past and the possibilities of the future. With Memory Starts To Bloom, the first single from their debut album Unmade Beds, which will be released on May 26th, 2023, Deep Dyed want to question exactly this.

In addition to warm, nostalgic feelings triggered by the dreamy guitar riffs, which are reminiscent of bands like Galaxie 500 or The Go-Betweens, the gently striding bass guitar and driving drums, Memory Starts To Bloom lyrically deals with the confrontation of one's own mental state, the longing for togetherness and the question of which events of the present are so imprinted in our memory that we will still think of them in 20 years.

In the music video, directed by Marf Mabo, the protagonists lose themselves in a surreal dream world and merge into a glyph at the end, while the band impassively accompanies them on their way to the end.

The album Unmade Beds will be released on May 26, 2023 on the Hamburg label La Pochette Surprise and will then be available on all popular streaming platforms.

The LP is limited to 300 copies and comes on blue eyeball-colored vinyl.
