Bikini Beach are back. The fuzz darlings from Lake Constance have a new album on the way and are sending the first herald into the race with the single “Liar Liar". A sparkling nugget of dirty garage rock full of distortion, fuzz, echoes and delays. Straight from the visitor's crevice between fuzz, psychedelic, surf and pop.

“As you can imagine, the song is about lying,” says the band. “Sometimes you get the feeling that the whole world around you is lying. Especially when it's so obviously lying. If you're going to be lied to, then you should at least make an effort to ensure that it's a logical lie and not complete nonsense that you can see through straight away.”

After two and a half minutes, it's all over again. But after two and a half, everything is told. Not an unnecessary gram of fat. A great hook, beats that get you moving, electrifying background choruses. “The love of simple, direct and raw rock music can't be killed off,” the band is convinced. “There are so many emotions behind it, so much energy that you can let out directly. Not just as an audience member at a concert, but also directly on the instrument.”
